Learn If You QualifyWhat Is Bone Marrow Therapy?
Bone Marrow Therapy at Glory Regenerative Center is built around Bone Marrow Concentrate (BMC), a physician-guided regenerative procedure that harvests marrow-derived cells and growth factors from your own body and concentrates them for targeted application. This therapy is commonly used when a stronger regenerative approach is needed for osteoarthritis, tendon and ligament injuries, degenerative disc concerns, chronic joint pain, or slow-to-heal orthopedic conditions. Rather than simply masking symptoms, bone marrow therapy is designed to support repair at the tissue level and help restore function over time.

Benefits
- Uses your own marrow-derived regenerative cells and growth factors
- Supports repair of cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and bone-related structures
- Offers powerful anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory support
- May delay or help patients avoid more invasive procedures
- Addresses the root cause of degeneration, not just symptoms
- Can be combined with PRP for enhanced regenerative results
- Outpatient procedure with no general anesthesia required
- Long-term relief potential — results continue improving for months
Who Is a Good Candidate?
Bone marrow therapy may be appropriate for patients with moderate to severe osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease, chronic tendon or ligament injuries, rotator cuff tears, knee or hip degeneration, shoulder pain, slow-healing bone or soft tissue injuries, or orthopedic conditions that have not responded adequately to conservative care.
How It Works
Comprehensive Evaluation
Dr. Ikudayisi performs a thorough evaluation including imaging studies to determine whether bone marrow therapy is appropriate and what regenerative protocol best fits your condition.
Bone Marrow Aspiration
A small sample of bone marrow is collected from the hip area using local anesthesia. The procedure is quick and most patients describe only mild pressure.
Concentration & Processing
The bone marrow sample is processed in a specialized centrifuge to concentrate marrow-derived regenerative cells, growth factors, and healing cytokines into a potent regenerative concentrate (BMC).
Precision Injection
The concentrated marrow-derived regenerative cells are applied to the treatment area using image guidance for maximum accuracy and therapeutic benefit.
What to Expect
Bone marrow therapy is an outpatient procedure performed in our clinical suite. Treatment typically takes 1–2 hours from start to finish. You should plan for a short recovery window with limited high-impact activity while the aspiration and treatment areas calm down. Mild soreness at the aspiration and injection sites is normal and usually resolves within a few days. Most patients begin noticing improvement within 4–6 weeks, with continued regenerative progress over the following months.
